Please be advised that NFN Leadership will be conducting
COMMUNITY STRATEGIC PLANNING SESSIONS
on February 2nd and 3rd, 2012.
These sessions will take place at the Community Hall and will begin at 10:00AM sharp. All Community Members are welcome and encouraged to come out and be heard about what the communities’ needs are.
**Lunch & snacks will be provided daily**

Chief and Council are now seeking (1) one individual to fill the Vacancy as an Interim-Committee Member on the NFN Housing Committee for a Term of two (2) years;
ending January 6th, 2014.

There will be an information session taking place this evening (Oct 26/11) at the Community Hall in regards to the recently signed Memorandum Of Understanding. All Community members are encouraged to come out and listen in on the discussions.

Chief and Council will be signing off and presenting the information on the benefits both NFN and MMR will recieve as a result of this MOU(Memorandum Of Understanding). This event will take place during our annual Fall harvest and will commence at 11AM on October 7th, 2011. Everyone is encouraged to come out and share a meal with the Community.

Naicatchewenin Development Corporation is seeking an individual with a professional work ethic and who has strong organizational and communication skills, for the Receptionist (full-time position).
Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer of Naicatchewenin Development Corporation, the Receptionist will carry out clerical duties; such as answering phones and directing calls, taking messages, greeting office visitors’, logging in-coming-outgoing correspondence for all staff, and will provide general office support. Other duties include but are not limited to coordinating meetings, making travel arrangements, preparing Board of Directors’ kits, transcribing meeting minutes, maintaining office supplies, inventory, equipment, etc.
Qualifications and Requirements for this position are as follows:
1. Must have Ontario Secondary School Diploma, or Equivalent;
2. Preference of an Office Administration Diploma or similar;
3. Minimum three (3) years office work experience in a front line office environment;
4. Must have high proficiency with Microsoft Office, Word, Excel
5. Understanding of First Nations’ management, culture and lifestyles; and
6. Must be able to submit a satisfactory criminal reference check.

please be advised that NDC is looking for 2 individuals to fill the vacant positions for thr NDC Board of Director’s Committee.
We are looking for 1 Elder (50+ years of age) which will act as the Spiritual Advisor and 1 Adult (30-49 years of age) which both positions should have backgournd in business. Both positions will be required to sign a letter of offer.
